Fluroide is naturally occuring and may be added
to municipal water systems. It is added to water systems
to reduce dental cavities. Levels over 2mg/l may cause
mottling of teeth in normal individuals. Federal law
require a community well system to notify users when
monitoring indicates that fluoride in the users' water
exceeds 2mg/l.
